VIPA S.R.L.
VIPA is the specialist for the production of high-performance
PVC compounds.
No standardized PVC compounds are produced. Instead, we have access to well over 10,000 formulations are available. Many of these have been specially developed for cable applications and have the following properties, among others:
- CPR compliant
- Low smoke
- Low HCI emission
- Very good resistance to high or low temperatures
- High flame resistance
- Resistance to oil and gasoline
- Phthalate-free plasticizers
The production capacity is 40,000 tons per year. Production is
carried out on 9 fully automated production lines. VIPA is one
of the 10 largest European PVC granulate producers. More
than 50% of the produced compounds are exported.
The company is certified according to ISO 9001.

HFFR – TPU – PE

VIPA-Polimeri
In 2004 the Paolini family founded VIPA-Polimeri. The company is located on the same site in Ancarano as VIPA and ideally complements the VIPA program in the field of halogen-free compounds, which are produced on the latest equipment.
Moreover, VIPA-Polimeri is the European distributor of INEOS for PE compounds.

EPDM / rubber compounds

Mixer S.p.A.
Mixer S.p.A. is one of the leading manufacturers of rubber compounds. It has focused entirely on the cable market. The insulating and sheathing compounds are elastomers cross-linked with CV lines or e-beam irradiation systems. In contrast, the bedding compounds in the portfolio are thermoplastic materials that do not require special processing technology. All Mixer products are in pellet/granule form and will be sold under the brand name EKOPREN®.




PBT-COMPOUNDS

JINSEN
JINSEN is the Chinese market leader for PBT compounds and masterbatches, MPP and TPEE, especially for fiber optic cable manufacturing.
Founded in 2003, in Jiangdu district, Yangzhou city, JINSEN is now the leading Chinese manufacturer of PBT and PBT masterbatches, for use in fiber optic cable. In 2019, JINSEN reached an annual production output of over 35,000 tons of PBT compounds. It supplies cable plants in Europe, America, Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
PBT-280 (Q02)
This grade is especially used in micro cables. In addition, a particularly high speed in the extrusion process of 800 – 1,000 m/min can be achieved.
Both products have the following properties:
- High mechanical strength, low shrinkage, high elastic modulus.
- Excellent heat aging resistance, Oil paste resistance, hydrolysis resistance and insulation performance.
- High crystallization temperature/high crystallization speed and good dimensional stability
- Low processing temperature
- Low processing shear force, which prolongs extruder screw life.
